Accounts are basic entity records that will be used in many other places in Magna CRM. The convenient, filterable account list shows you all accounts at a glance, and provides much of the account information you may need, such as addresses and contact persons. Click an account name in the listing to see a detailed Account record.
The account record shows you all the information for the account. All Magna CRM entity records display standard information showing who created the record, when it was created, who edited it last, and when it was edited. The account record shows the name of the account, contact information, company Web site, and billing and shipping addresses. In the bottom part of the main account record display there is a large note field where you can put descriptive text. Magna CRM allows you to use markdown language in the note areas, a simple syntax for creating attractive RTF formatted text.

Beneath the main part of the Account record, there are separate listings for the Contacts, Opportunities, Assets, Issues, Events and Tasks associated with the account. All Magna CRM entity records have common features for basic tasks such as editing and deleting records
Contacts records allow you to organize a complete list of business contacts, especially those related to each account. The address information can be used to generate mailing lists.
Opportunities allow you to list and track promising openings for business deals. For example, your customer has purchased new computer hardware and may be open to buying a software product, or your telecom customer has opened a new branch and may be interested in your voice mail service. Magna CRM reminds you to exploit the opportunity in a timely way.
Magna CRM provides a leads category to record contact information for possible new sales prospects and what their interests are. Lead records allow management to track marketing activities and develop new business.
Magna CRM records show the issues raised by customers, which can include feature suggestions, defect reports or problem of sales and installation. You can track resolution of issues to ensure customers are satisfied and to verify that your firm is making the most of opportunities raised by customer requirements.
Use Magna CRM to record solutions to issues raised by customers. These can be, for example, defect repairs or replacement with a newer version, or a new product to meet a new requirement. The solutions are used in tracking resolution of Issues. Solutions to standard problems can be reused.
Magna CRM lists each product you manufacture. This information is associated with accounts and other entities in the database.
Magna CRM features handy, filterable reports to keep you up to date with all CRM activities and resources in the database. To generate a report, select the report and check the appropriate options. In this case, the filter options are set to generate a Scheduling report, showing only Events for today and tomorrow.
Supervisory and Administrative Functions – Magna CRM provides a "backend" for authorized Users that allows for specification of Users and User rights, for editing of certain fixed lookup tables, and for Import, Export and license management.
